This Standard Document can be used when the acting trustee wants to name a successor trustee to act when the acting trustee resigns, is removed, becomes incapacitated, or dies or when the acting trustee has resigned, become incapacitated, been removed, or died and a person authorized in the trust instrument chooses a successor.
